"can you please take a selfie for me"

— my friend

Is this what it means to grow up? I sense the world’s blessings upon my newly attained self.

my nephew and sister’s playdates mean both of them sitting in the living room across from each other with ipads in their faces and playing “together” virtually.

when i played with my cousins, we actually saw each other’s faces when we actually interacted with each other and played pretend things like restaurant, library, house, store, etc. we actually used our toys. and we actually had nice bonds.

by watching my sister and nephew play together, i can already tell they won’t know what to do together if i took away their ipads. it’s kind of sad to watch.

the notebook problem: you see a notebook. you want to buy the notebook. but you know you have like TEN OTHER NOTEBOOKS. most which are STILL EMPTY. you don’t need to notebook. you’re probably not gonna use the notebook anyway. what’s the point? DONT BUY THE NOTEBOOK. you buy the notebook.
